Freezelab is my personal artist site. A place where I can experiment freely. I’m glad you’ve landed here.
On display are samples of my editorial work (music videos), experimental short films, documentary work, photography and illustrations.
I’m a technician by trade, but an artist at heart.
Thank you for visiting…

Bio
I am an American filmmaker, from Queens, New York. My journey into filmmaking began in the cinema department of Binghamton University in NY, where I was inspired by avant-garde filmmakers like Ken Jacobs, Larry Gottheim, and Mark McElhatten. I was especially drawn to the works of Stan Brakhage out of Boulder Colorado.
Since then, my personal creative projects have spanned feature-length documentaries, experimental shorts, photography, illustrations and scriptwriting. My screenplays often explore time, identity, psychological tension, and trauma while interweaving those subjects with dark humor.
Though art is my passion, my career has followed a unique path. I began in IT support, working for NBC News at 30 Rock and supporting iconic shows like the Nightly News with Tom Brokaw, The Today Show, SNL, and Conan O’Brien. I specialized in teleprompter hardware and software support, and I was fortunate enough to be brought on as a consultant for the 2002 Salt Lake City and 2004 Athens Olympic Games onsite. I’ve done computer network support for giant law firms and financial conglomerates… Video editing, engineering, teleprompting, and camera work for post production houses and even bartended and waited tables seasonally at tourist destinations.
My creative curiosity is paralleled by my love of travel, which began as a teenager with several months spent in Buenos Aires and other Argentine cities. My travels have since taken me across the globe, to locales such as Tel Aviv, Istanbul, Marrakesh, Bangkok, Sydney, London, Paris, Vienna, Budapest, Athens, and others. Stateside, I have briefly lived in Portland OR and Jackson Hole WY before eventually domiciling in Chicago.
Today, I work at a visual effects house, balancing time between a highly technical role in video workflow support and my personal artistic endeavors. While the demands of my work have shifted my focus primarily towards screenwriting, I continue to pursue my passion for eclectic experiences, both technical and creative.
